I am pleased to confirm that my team have recently been working with major construction company Kier on the Shire Hall recladding and refurbishment project.

Not only that but we have received a letter from Jeremy Mann, Kier’s Contracts Manager, complementing us on our adherence to their Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards.

Here’s what he had to say:

“On behalf of Kier, I would like to share with you Kier’s recognition of your positive contribution in embracing our Safety, Health and Environment Management System requirements including our Just and Fair Culture Standard.

You have clearly shown how you have exceeded expected delivery of Kier’s values of Collaborative, Forward Thinking and Enthusiastic, through the works you have completed as described below.

Safe working at height: Requesting ladder permits and ensuring safe methods of access at all times.

We thank you sincerely for raising and promoting SHE awareness within your team and colleagues. It enables our projects to become more efficient when working collaboratively and without incidents.”

It is always nice to receive praise from your professional peers and I feel our award is something we can be proud of as it reflects the ethics and working practices of our own company.
